Four Month Old Twins
The twins are now four months old. They have gotten so big the last month. They are really long, like our other children, and have outgrown single birth babies in our ward who are older than they. After a relapse from sickness, they are once again sleeping through the night. They are happy most of the time and bring so much joy to our family! They are really starting to notice each other and smile at each other, which is so cute. This is what is going on with the twins at four months of age.
Archer talks nonstop, high pitched and loudly. We all love to listening to his baby babble. If he happens to not be talking, then he is blowing bubbles. He's also recently adopted a bit of a temper and will yell when he is upset. He can not eat enough these days. He is always very ready for feeding time and drains his bottle quickly.
Stats: Weight - 13 lb. 12 oz (25%), Height - 26.1 in. (86 %), Head Circumference (8%)
He has learned: to reach and grab objects
He likes: to face out when being held, his bouncer, the swing, mobiles, rattles, eating, being sang to, being talked to
He dislikes: being cuddled tight against you, belly time, his binkie
Things he does that makes us laugh: high pitched emphatic talking, often has his fists up in the air, big gummy smiles and big laughs
Avonlea just gets sweeter and sweeter. At first we thought she was pretty feisty, but now she is usually more laid back than her brother. She is still very sensitive and get scared and cries easily. She loves to be held and cuddled. She does talk, but quietly. Her laugh is more subdued and quiet as well. She has not been a great eater this past month. Mostly because she is always congested. She is so congested that she is constantly snorting. Her doctor checked her out and said nothing was wrong; that she probably would clear up as she gets older and her nasal passages get bigger.
Stats: Weight 13 lb. 3 oz. (35%), 25.75 inches (93%), Head Circumference (5%)
She has learned: to reach and grab objects
She likes: being held and cuddled, the bouncer, the swing, mobiles, mirrors, rattles, watching television, her binkie when she is having a hard time going to sleep, being talked to and belly time
She dislikes: loud sudden noises, medicine, being alone
Things she does that makes us laugh: snorts a lot, pulls her hairbows over her eyes, sweet smiles that comes very easily, and looks of absolute devastation that also come very easily, and little soft laughs
