Brody turned two on October 6th! He's really grown up a lot lately. He just had a growth spurt and is about the same height as most three year olds. He is saying full sentences, and making connections, and showing preferences much more often. He is definitely a two year old in the aspect of throwing tantrums. He throws them often, and with grander: screaming, head thrown back, big tears, falling to the floor, etc. He is also very fun though, and likes to be silly and play. He is really clingy with his mommy. He will not stay in a room if I am not in there with him. He more often than not wants me to hold him, and to hug him; he clings to my shirt, and will actually try to stand on my feet instead of standing next to me. He also really loves his dad, brother, aunties and Grandmas and Grandpas. He is a loving boy, for sure. This is what is going on with Brody at two years of age.
He has learned: to speak full sentences, wash his hands, to climb up the counters like his brother, to climb up/through playgrounds and play places, to say and identify all his body parts, to tell us when he needs a diaper change, to open doors, turn off and on lights, to blow his nose, to match shapes and colors, to vacuum, to sit at the table, and to drink from a cup
He likes: hot cocoa, candy, chips and pop, his stuffed animals (especially teddy and hippo), cars, balls, Elmo, squirt bottles, cleaning, playing in water, electronics, wires, tools, bubbles, cuddling, animals of all kinds, "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "The Little Green Frog" song, and playing with his brother and friends
He dislikes: having to share, brushing his teeth, and being alone.
Things he does that makes us laugh: speaks in a small high pitched voice whenever asked to repeat what we say (thank you or a prayer), says yes to just about everything, funny faces, very excited squeals, and big laughs and cheesy smiles.
