Nine Months Old

Brody has had quite a difficult month. He definitely got the worst of this nasty virus we are passing around to each other. Throughout the past three weeks he's had: a runny nose, cough, sore throat, two eye infections, vomiting, diarrhea and currently a high fever. Poor little guy! He has been more cranky than usual, but can you blame him? He does still try to be sweet and smiley. This picture was taken last night at dinner. You can tell he has a fever because of his flushed cheeks, yet he is still happy to be eating watermelon. He has lost a lot of weight and is looking very skinny. He has always been cuddly, but with not feeling well now he always wants to be held and snuggled. Here's what is going on with Brody at nine months of age.

Stats: Weight - 16 lb. 14 oz. (only the 4th percentile, so sad), Height - 29 1/4 inches (85th percentile), and head circumference is the 49th percentile

He has learned: to hand feed himself, to say "da da" and "ba ba"

He likes: playing with toys, being held, bouncing, table food, Pedialyte, being tickles, peek-a-boo, playing with his brother, and pulling hair

He dislikes: being alone, going down for naps, and being on his belly

Things he does/about him that makes us laugh: high chirps, his natural faux hawk, likes to point and stick out his tongue, big smiles and laughs
