Recipe - Peach Berry Dessert

Greg's dad sent us home with a bunch of fresh peaches, so I made this treat for dessert. It was really good. I don't think I will be making it again anytime soon though because we both stuffed ourselves until we were sick of it. Unless you're serving a lot of people, I would half the recipe. The whole recipe serves eight. We sent half with the meal for the the Stricklands and kept the other half for ourselves.

Peach Berry Dessert

8 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
1/2 t. almond extract
juice of one lemon
1 1/2 c. fresh blueberries
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. flour
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. quick oats
vanilla ice cream

Place peaches in 9 x 13 pan . Stir in almond extract and lemon juice. Sprinkle berries on top. In a bowl combine butter, flour, brown sugar and oats. Sprinkle over peaches. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream.
