Recipe - 4th of July Pie

We had a good 4th of July holiday. We had a BBQ with my family at London's house. She made her traditional 4th of July Pie, which is so yummy. We then watched a spectacular display of fireworks at our friends', the Dunns, house (good job Bobby!). Here's the recipe for the delicious pie. I'm sure once you try it, it'll become a tradition in your house too.

4th of July Pie

4 squares of baking chocolate
8 whole strawberries, halved lengthwise
1 graham cracker pie crust
3/4 c. thinly sliced fresh strawberries
1 pkg. cream cheese
3/4 c. confectioners sugar
3/4 c. milk
1 pk. 3.3 oz. instant white chocolate pudding
1 c. fresh blueberries
1 c. whipped topping

Microwave chocolate on low heat until melted. Dip half of the halved strawberries in chocolate. Set aside to set. Spread the rest of the chocolate on the inside of the graham cracker crust. Arrange thinly sliced strawberries over the crust. Beat sugar and cream cheese until smooth, slowly beat in milk. Beat in pudding on low speed for 2 minutes or until set. Spread over strawberries. Place blueberries in the center of the pie. Arrange strawberries around the edge of the pie. Pipe whipped topping between strawberries and blueberries. Refrigerate until serving.
