Recipe - Blond Brownies with Brown Sugar Frosting

I tried a new recipe this weekend. They were pretty tasty, very buttery.

Blond Brownies with Brown Sugar Frosting

Brownies:
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 t. vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt

Frosting:
1/3 c. butter
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
3 T. milk
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 t. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans

Beat sugar, brown sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs in a bowl on medium speed until light and fluffy. Stir in baking powder and salt. Spread batter evenly into an ungreased 13x9 pan. Bake 20-23 minutes. Cool completely.

For the frosting melt butter over low heat. Stir in brown sugar; cook over low heat for two minutes, stirring constanly. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing well until smooth and spreadable. Add more milk if needed. Spread frosting over brownies. Immediately sprinkle with pecans.
