Memories: the Good, the Bad, the Ugly, Bring 'em On!

1. As a comment on our blog, leave one memory that you had with our family or a member of our family. It doesn’t matter if you know us well or not, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty fun to see the responses. If you leave a memory about us, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you.

The wonderful joys of working (or playing) at Seagull Book. I can't forget how you showed me you were engaged. EVERYONE at work knew but me. When I first walked into the store you came over and gave me a great big hug and wiggled your engagement ring in front of me. I about fell over and screamed. I was so excited for you. We had a lot of good times... we were at work we had to make it good. Thanks for asking me to go to lunch with you to Arby's... even though i vaguely remember that. Oh, and since you were the first married you informed us of a lot...hehe.

I remember making 60 dozen hard boiled and artistically colored Easter eggs every year. Artistically, meaning; that we would decorate a dozen and then just start stacking eggs in the coloring cups so they could all get colored before the sun went down and before our Mom would nag us to keep going. Mom said that 'everyone deserved to have multi-colored egg salad the day after Easter'. Then after the coloring would come the "volunteered" delivering of the eggs to the widows and all of the couples without children that we knew. Hours later we would all be exhausted and want to do anything else besides handling eggs and wearing matching overstuffed dresses.

Going to your house for dinner. Both Selo and I had a great time! Greg and Selo were playing it up on the guitar, and you and I were discussing all the wonderful books on your bookshelf.

There are so many memories where could I even begin. Probably the first memory that I have of us becoming friends, was when we were introduced in our seminary class and hit it off from the start. We would make each other laugh so hard althroughout the class that I don't think we learned anything at all that year, gospel wise. I think the teacher would even tell us everyday to stop laughing but like that really stopped us!

Remember the time when your boob exploded in our basement? Yea, she did say that.
